Help?

Hey guys! Howz it going :)
I have a pretty dumb question ... I have no idea how we actually find these folders of photos that Manda and Susie made ... where do I look? How stupid do I sound :P?
Things are going well atm - just spent a week in Melbourne with the fam at the tennis and shopping and stuff, work was nice enough to let me negotiate the time off, and Susie got to come in Mum's place (it would've been nice if they were both there but yay anyway!)! And Brony was on my flight back to Brisbane! I'm back in Wacol now - I get Australia Day off, and then on Thursday I get to travel as far as NSW to some farms which is going to be so fun :)! My shifts are still random - just after our engagement party (which you guys should have e-mail invites for - please check if you haven't seen it yet and RSVP :)) I start at 4am, 7am, 3am, 4am and 4am :S - pray they might get a bit nicer!
Can't wait to hear from you all again, or even see you in a few weeks :)
God bless!

Three Days...

I have just logged on to this blog for the first time since I joined it. I don't really have much to say, but all I have to do at work at the moment is prepare a presentation on what I've done in the last 6 months. It's easily the best work placement I've had, but I don't feel like doing a presentation on it. It's definitely more interesting to program a Programmable Logic Device, order some 1uH/600ohm inductors, create circuit schematic symbols and lay out a Printed Circuit Board than it is to talk about such activities (which I'm sure you're all realising as you struggle not to fall asleep while reading this sentence).

I suppose (pronounced "spose") I should give some sort of update on my life if I'm going to make this post even vaguely interesting to anyone other than myself.

Susan and I spent Christmas with the Berrys (how should I write the plural of Berry???) which was fun. To make the day even more interesting, Adrian also joined us. He was in Sydney over Christmas but had no-one else to spend it with, so we invited him along. The day consisted largely of Ben and Lilly (our niece and nephew) getting some presents, eating, Ben and Lilly getting more presents, more eating, more eating, more eating, more presents and some food to "round" out the evening. Somewhere in there we also played "Battle of the Sexes" (the result of which is irrelevant, since it was a silly game, but the guys won) and Euka. In all, my first Berry Chrstmas was a merry one.

New Year was with my family. We celebrated by sitting in the middle of the road with our neighbours.

The only other thing worth mentioning is that Susan and I are having Rege Steaks tonight. :-)

How was everyone else's Christmas? How did beach missions go? How are jobs going? Has anyone else found any other ... verses?

Question :)

Hey guys! Hope you're all well :) Third day at work atm - 6am starts (does anyone else know what time of morning that is :P? Or more like 4:30am when I get up?)! QA is definitely not exciting but not terribly hard either :P, and some salads are just not worth buying! Me and Michael (my flatmate) rejected 10 TONNES of lettuce yesterday (that's been the highlight so far)!
I wanted to know what's the go with the start of 1 Samuel 13 - in the ESV it says 'Saul was ... years old when he began to reign, and he reigned ... and two years over Israel' and the NIV says 'Saul was thirty years old when he became king and he reigned over Israel for forty two years'. For starters I've never seen ... in the Bible, and even tho I've read the footnotes that say the info is lacking how then did the NIV come up with those random numbers? Sorry for the strange query but I just found it really odd and thought you guys would be the best ones to ask :).
Btw guys if you're free the last week of Jan (well I hope - I may have to work) me and Jase are hoping to have an engagement party at his place in Ballina. The Conyerseseseses are driving up most probably, and Robski has said he may fly, so there's options :). Invites should hopefully be coming out soonish.
Anywayz my television is calling me ....
